Karen Fagerberg's Story
Hey everyone!  I am raising money for the YMCA's Invest In Youth Campaign! The dollars we raise will go toward Y programs that imact our community and change individuals as well as families.  This year (2012) we are rasing $205,000 which will go toward programs combating childhood obesity (ACT - Actively Changing Together), support cancer survivors (Livestrong) and provide life changing activities for children & families experiencing homelessness (YCommunity).  As part of our campaign I have set a personal goal of raising $1,000 through my friends, family and contacts.  Yes, I do work for the Y.  Those who know me know that if I did not personally see the impact Y programs make and believe in the community need I would not be doing what I do.  I see first hand on a daily basis children & families who's lives have been positivly changed through our partnerships and programs.  Please join me in making a gift to our Invest In Youth program.  There is a scale on this page which shares some of what your gift can do.  Do you want to hear a REAL story of impact before making a gift?  Email, poke or call I would love to share some of the great impact your dollars can create.  Thank you in advance for your support.  It truly does take a village to support us all.
