STRONGER COMMUNITIES
LIMITLESS IMPACT

Every day, people of all ages and all walks of life come together at the Y to grow healthier and stronger in spirit, mind, and body.

At the YMCA of Snohomish County we believe that when people achieve their potential, they make a brighter future possible for their communities:

When a child finds a sport that he loves more than

a video game…
When a teen works after school to get ahead in her classes…
When a mom connects with her kids through volunteering
together…

…a community grows healthier, stronger, more productive.

As a leading nonprofit for strengthening community, your gift will help young people achieve their potential, empower people of all ages to lead healthier lives, and strengthen the bonds of community.

TURN YOUR GIFT INTO…

THEIR POTENTIAL
Because we believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve, the Y is for Youth Development. Whether helping toddlers learn their first words or preparing high school students for college success; getting kids excited about sports or local government; making memories at camp or afterschool – we help young people form healthy habits, develop their skills, and build strong relationships.

THEIR HEALTHour th and well-being is a priority for the
We know that health and well-being are all about balance. That’s why we help people of all ages achieve their individual health goals and bring their families closer together. We give people the knowledge, inspiration, and support to stay active, eat healthy, and prevent or manage chronic diseases. We provide them with opportunities to connect with others and get involved with their communities. It all adds up to greater health and well-being in spirit, mind, and body.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. In Snohomish County, the Y has been listening and responding to our communities’ most critical needs since 1901. Social Responsibility is central to who we are. Behind everything we do is a profound commitment to bridging the gaps that divide people in our communities. With our doors open to all, we bring together people of all ages and backgrounds. With our members, volunteers, staff, and partners, we take on the most urgent
needs in our communities, bringing our cause to the people and neighborhoods that need us most. We also work to inspire a spirit of service in everyone we touch. From children to seniors, we help people embrace their responsibility to their communities – and our 2,000+ volunteers demonstrate the power of what we can achieve by giving back together.
