As many of you the Everett Family YMCA is a special place that is having life changing impact in our community.

In my work world, I see the direct impact to our teens. The sheer joy on the face of teens who qualify for free lunch when they learn they are eligible for  a 1 year YMCA Teen membership for $17 a year is pricesless.  They feel like the world has been opened to them.  The Y provides a safe place for them to hang out.   I am also amazed by the support the Y provides directly to my school.  Our PE class visits once a month to use the facility.  They have hosted family activities for one of my programs and teach swim lessons.

On a personal note, the Y is where I have found my community of friends that support me in my healthy lifestyle.  I love to hang out with my Y friends!  I love this picture of us on Superbowl Sunday supporting the Mill Creek Y Annual Campaign in the Puddle Run.

When in the Y, I see the impacts of programs like Y Communities (that supports our homeless shelters), LiveStrong (Cancer Program) or the new Diabetes Prevention program.

Please help me raise money for the Everett Family YMCA Annual Support Campaign to impact lives!

Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together. That's why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause.

With a focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the Y works to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the nation's health and well-being, and give back and support our neighbors.

At the Y, no child, family, or adult is turned away. We recognize that for communities to succeed, everyone must be given the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected, and secure.

"I lived at the YMCA growing up with my brothers and sisters. We lived 4 blocks and those walks up the hills of Butte didn't hurt us either. Great memories for me at the Y."
