The  Mill Creek Family YMCA Annual Campaign just past half way through.

Here is just one of the reasons why I am asking people to join me in contributing to the Mill Creek Y’s Annual Campaign.

I am passionate about ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn to swim and learn water safety skills.  Drowning is the second leading cause of accidental death in children under 14.  The impact of changing just one child from experiencing a drowning or near drowning will have a positive ripple effect on the family and community.  Drowning prevention is my number one reason but learning to swim creates lifelong fitness and health opportunities.   Every session the Mill Creek Y serves approximately 600-1200 participants in lessons.

I personally see the transformations within these family and hear their stories.  With your dollars we can continue to provide access, improve the programs and grow as the community requires.

Please join me!  Every dollar helps!

Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together. That's why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause.

With a focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the Y works to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the nation's health and well-being, and give back and support our neighbors.

At the Y, no child, family, or adult is turned away. We recognize that for communities to succeed, everyone must be given the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected, and secure.
