My Friends:

I am asking you to join me in supporting the Mill Creek Family YMCA’s 2014 Annual Campaign (previously known as “Invest In Youth Campaign”). I have been volunteering at this YMCA branch for several years instructing indoor cycling classes and affinity group involvement. This is my first year as a campaigner for my local YMCA branch.

We teach life-changing skills to youth and adults, provide essential support in times of need, and provide financial assistance with memberships and program scholarships. The funds go to support the existing programs and expand youth mentoring, obesity prevention, and cancer survivor and Parkinson’s support programs, as well as meet the ever-growing demand for financial assistance. Annually, the Mill Creek Y provides over $448,000 in direct financial assistance, providing access to programs and service that otherwise would not be available.

My personal fundraising goal for this year is $500.00 and inviting you to join in our work with a $50.00 donation to the 2014 Annual Campaign.  You are able to submit your gift several ways:

  • Donate directly to my fundraising account via credit card, click on the “Donate Now” button;
  • Please make your check payable to the Annual Campaign YMCA of Sno. Co. and deliver to me;
  • Or, pledge payment options are available, please contact me to complete a form.

I believe strongly in the work of the YMCA and I am proud to be a member of the 2014 Annual Campaign team. I hope you will join me in giving a gift to this year’s campaign.

Remember donations are tax deductable and many employers have gifts matching programs, which doubles the positive impact that you are making. Please contact with your HR Department.

Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Sincerely,

Doug Braid

2014 Annual Campaign

Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together. That's why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause.

With a focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the Y works to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the nation's health and well-being, and give back and support our neighbors.

At the Y, no child, family, or adult is turned away. We recognize that for communities to succeed, everyone must be given the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected, and secure.
