Please help me raise money for the Monroe Family YMCA Annual Support Campaign.  As many of you know the Y is a huge part of my family's lives.  The Monroe Y has given me a place to use my talents and abilities that God has given me.  I feel fulfilled in the work I do at the Y, it is not just a job, it has become part of me.  It has also helped my family, me specifically, to be healthy without feeling judged.  I feel supported and encouraged on my own personal journey to be healthier and better me.  I could not be doing it without the Y.  The Y has also provided my children with countless opportunities to grow in who they are.  To be challenged with new things and find things they are good at.  Each staff member or volunteer coach has encouraged them and help them find things they are passionate about.  Who knew my shy little Ally would be so competitive and love sports (her coaches saw it in her).  My fun loving oldest has a place just for teens her age to make friends, hang out, learn about our government, dance, and be a teenager.  My youngest little guy has been at the Y since birth.  He loves it there and is still working on finding something he is passionate about, but he has a safe place to do it.  All three of my children have learned to swim at our Y.  The Y would not be what it is without donations from family and friends like you.  Our members and donors are the heartbeat of our building.  Please help support a cause at my Y.  Any little bit helps.  The Y truly is a place for everyone.

Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together. That's why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause.

With a focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the Y works to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the nation's health and well-being, and give back and support our neighbors.

At the Y, no child, family, or adult is turned away. We recognize that for communities to succeed, everyone must be given the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected, and secure.
