Hello Friends!

Welcome to my Monroe YMCA fundraising page!  Each year, our YMCA conducts an annual campaign to raise money for programs that benefit our community.

I'm passionate about my community.  I've been involved with the Monroe Y as a Board member or as an employee since 1998.  It has been incredible to see how the Y has changed the lives of so many people that I know.

You probably know that the Y is so much more than swim and gym!  The Y provides programs that can benefit not only Y members, but all members of our community. Some of my favorites are:

Jump Start Preschool - has a huge impact on the success of kids entering kindergarten who haven't been able to attend preschool.

Youth and Government - introduces teens to the state government process so they can see how to get involved.

ACT! - Actively Changing Together - a program that educates and involves kids at risk for diabetes, along their families, to make lifelong changes in their health.  The success stories are inspiring!

So many more:
Gear up and Go!
Adaptive Programs

Financial Assistance for access to programs such as swimming lessons and youth sports.
Livestrong at the Y
and more!

Most of all, our Y is a place to belong.  I feel it and I can see it all around me when I'm there.

Please join me with a donation to our Annual Campaign.  Any size donation will mean so much to me and to so many people whom I see every day!

Thank you!
~Sally

Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together. That's why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause.

With a focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the Y works to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the nation's health and well-being, and give back and support our neighbors.

At the Y, no child, family, or adult is turned away. We recognize that for communities to succeed, everyone must be given the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected, and secure.
