Every day I get the opportunity to work with teens that have bright ideas for the future. Whether they dream of being the first person in their family to go to college, imagine new ways to make their community different, dare to have the opportunity to experience a travel camp for the first time, or are just searching for a safe place to hang out with their friends after school, the Y provides all of that and more.

Please help me raise money for the Everett Family YMCA Annual Support Campaign as I work first hand with the youth in the Everett community and see how much your support impacts them!

The YMCA teen programs engage more than 700 youth in grades 5-12 during afternoon and non-school hours when many parents are working. Teen programs are provided at no charge to all youth who wish to participate and are funded through the annual campaign.

1 in 3 youth and teens gained self-confidence and academic guidance through Teen Out of School programs, including Teen Late Nights, Y Afterschool and Youth Making a Difference.

The Minority Achievers Program assisted 43 middle school and high school students with homework support and academic goal setting through 3 program sites across Everett.

Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together. That's why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause.

With a focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the Y works to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the nation's health and well-being, and give back and support our neighbors.

At the Y, no child, family, or adult is turned away. We recognize that for communities to succeed, everyone must be given the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected, and secure.
