I am passionate about raising money for the Everett YMCA's Annual Campaign. Not only have I enjoyed working here for the last 14 years, but the Y has become a part of my family. It is the place where I work out and am supported by peers and members to be healthy and happy. It is the place that provides quality day care to my son while I am at work. It is the place my kids come to swim and play sports. It is a place of community that lifts me up when I am in it.

Not everyone is able to afford these opportunities. Not everyone can afford Child Care that is quality and also educates their children. Not everyone has the opportunity for their kids to learn water safety in a state that is full of bodies of water. Not every family has a place to go to make healthy choices or to get out of the stressful environment of their home.

The Y provides financial assistance to those who can't afford to pay. To families who's teens need a safe place to go after school, to families in transitional housing that need a break from their everyday stress, to cancer survivors learning how to be physically and emotionally strong again after treatment. This is because the Y is So Much More. More than a gym, it's a cause. Please help me raise money for the Everett Family YMCA's Annual Support Campaign.

Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together. That's why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause.

With a focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the Y works to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the nation's health and well-being, and give back and support our neighbors.

At the Y, no child, family, or adult is turned away. We recognize that for communities to succeed, everyone must be given the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected, and secure.
