Let me start out by saying I love the YMCA and all it stands for. The YMCA is more than just the place I go to workout, much more! You may not be directly affected by the YMCA but I'd be willing to bet someone you know or someone close to you has been. That's because the YMCA has something to offer  for everyone, from lessons for kids to Silver Sneakers for the seniors and so much in between.

I proudly have volunteered at the YMCA and have participated in some pretty amazing events. Last year, I was part of the Pedal-a-thon that raised money for the Pedaling for Parkinsons group. I rode along side members who are part of that group and I was able to see first hand how this program has given them hope and strength as they live with this disease. Just last month me and 6 of the girls on my basketball team ran in the annual Puddle Run put on to help fund the Live strong program. Not only did these girls  raise money to help support cancer survivors, but they participated in fun event that directly helped with their well-being.

These and many of the other programs offered through the YMCA are funded by the money raised in the Annual Campaign. Please help me raise money for the Mill Creek YMCA so that so many more lives will benefit from all that the Y has to offer.

Thank you!

Ellie

Please help me raise money for the Mill Creek Family YMCA Annual Support Campaign.

Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together. That's why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause.

With a focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the Y works to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the nation's health and well-being, and give back and support our neighbors.

At the Y, no child, family, or adult is turned away. We recognize that for communities to succeed, everyone must be given the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected, and secure.
