Did you read those few short paragraphs under the video?!  If not, please do!  Take it in. Think about it.  Because that is exactly what I believe and why our family has chosen to support the YMCA.  I believe people do good when they feel good.  And in turn that promotes positive social change AND social  responsibility.

Please help me raise money for the Monroe Family YMCA Annual Support Campaign!  The money raised through this campaign stays in the community to support memberships, swim lessons, various youth development programs, teen center, minority achievers program,  youth in government and SO much more.  The YMCA is NOT JUST A GYM it is a CAUSE.

I'm a Y mom and our children are being raised as Y kids!  They both learned to swim at the Y. Through the Y they have or will learn dance, soccer and other sports and someday will utilize the positive atmosphere of the teen center.  Most importantly the YMCA is helping us teach them SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY!  We've all developed a healthier lifestyle through fun, fitness and friendships at the Y.

The YMCA plays such an important and positive role in our community through all of it's many programs offered to people of ALL ages AND abilities no matter what their financial status. Everyone benefits here.  Because of this our family has chosen to support the Y in raising money for the annual campaign.

JAEGER & JOLENE each CHOSE to DONATE $5.00 of their own money to the Y campaign!  Our family has chosen to donate another $100.00 to the campaign.  So now we ask you can you please match our donation? Or perhaps, half it?

Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together. That's why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause.

With a focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the Y works to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the nation's health and well-being, and give back and support our neighbors.

At the Y, no child, family, or adult is turned away. We recognize that for communities to succeed, everyone must be given the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected, and secure.
