Please help me raise money for the Everett Family YMCA Annual Support Campaign.
The Everett YMCA keeps our family in balance. I very passionately believe that Y helped me fight Postpartum Depression and continues to help improve the quality of my entire family's lives.
It all stared with the loving relationships that were easily built with the staff and other members. The group classes get me up and going during the week and the supportive faces that share my journey keep me coming back. I have reached personal athletic goals, gained confidence, pushed myself mentally and have peace my heart. The staff and members help keep me accountable and brighten my day.
I have really grown this past year by participating in just one 5k then learning how to swim and being encouraged to train for a Triathlon. In just over a year I feel ready to take on my First Ironman 70.3 in a few months. The event will be quite a challenge but its all the group training that is so so fun.
Jordie and Grace love the staff at the kid watch and Adventure Zone where they hang out while I work out and have fellowship. Jordie has built great friendships with other kids, has learned how to swim, and has participated in endless sports including Tball, Basketball, Broom ball, and Soccer to name a few. The Y is a great place for him to try new things and tell everyone he see's Good Morning and share's a high-five.
The Kid Watch area is beyond loving and stimulating to our kids, and it provides Brian and I the quality time together we wouldn't otherwise have.
My Mom and Dad have recently joined the YMCA after seeing all our progress and the peace and joy it bring us. Mom is able to get in the pool and strengthen her body in a way she couldn't otherwise do herself. Dad has been inspired by me and we are currently training together for his first Triathlon. The gift of health has endless benefits and I am beyond thankful the Y helps keep my parents strong and healthy to keep up with their Grandkids!
The YMCA really supports my Family and our Heathy Living, but they do so much more for the entire community: Aquatics Education, Youth Sports, Youth Obesity Prevention, Pedaling for Parkinson's, Cancer Survivorship Program, Early childhood Education, Teen out of School Programs and many more!
The YMCA has given US so much and gives so much to our community, we now have an opportunity to be apart of it. I am campaigning and asking my friends and family to please give to support all these wonderful programs which help us all learn, grow and thrive.
