I feel so blessed to be apart of the Everett YMCA community. It is like a second home to me. Not only do I get to work with this amazing group of people but I also have made many valuable and irreplaceable friendships that will last a lifetime.
The Everett YMCA is much more than a building with a gym and a pool. It's kids running through the front door who can't wait to get to their swim lesson, soccer game or gymnastics class. It's teens who have a fun and safe place to hang out after school. It's seniors gathering for coffee before their aqua aerobics class. It's people improving their health through specialized wellness, cancer survivors' and diabetes prevention programs and Parkinson’s Disease support.
I've seen so many people I know benefit from programs they have found at the Y. Not all the programs the Y offers can be funded by membership dues. The Y relies on funds raised in our Annual Campaign in order to continue offering members of our community programs that will improve the quality of their lives.
