To my wonderful friends and family, thank you for supporting my work!
Community isn’t just a buzz word at the Y. It’s a norm, our
movement, and something that happens organically. Y’s exist in communities to
strengthen them. We want to be that second place that’s reminisced about.
Whenever I tell someone I work for the Y it's often met with "I learned to swim at the Y" or stories of hilarious moments at summer camp or taking the first steps in a
fitness journey.
And I've had the privilege of seeing bigger moments: a Senior in Youth and Government registering to vote or a MAP student who may have started the program failing
now opening that college acceptance letter.
The Y is big because we do big
things in small ways. These things happen because individuals come together to
make us stronger. Whatever you passion or connection to the Y, we need your help to make these moments accessible to those who can't afford them.
This year my goal is $2,500. Will you help me reach it?
