WHY INVEST IN THE Y?
At the Y, we believe that l
asting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health, and our neighbors. With your support and generosity, we can continue to address these and other pressing issues – and expand our work to reach more people.

Every gift makes a difference.  Everyone has a role to play.  Give today to be a leader in shaping the future of your community.

The Y has been a huge part of our family for many years.
It is a great feeling to walk into the building and see so many
smiling faces.
If it were not for the help from the YMCA Kayleondra would not have had the opportunities she has been given.
When Kayleondra starting going the YMCA's Early Child Education program in December of 2011 she was stuggling in many areas. Her biggest obstacles were her speech and social skills.
Kayle did not want to talk to anyone and would fear away from other children. Now Kayle is speaking better everyday and is learning thing
that I as an adult do not even know. She is excited everyday to go to school see all of her friends and be involved in all the the wonderful activities. Being part of the ECE Program has made our family a stronger family. The staff provide great support to us and are always willing to help with our life situations. Kayle's positive development would not have been possible with out all of their help.

There are several other programs that the Y help our community with.
Many families and individuals living in transitional housing or shelters are able to come to the Y's facilities and enjoy spending time in a safe and fun environment.

Several different Programs in the Y help our communities youth. there are 3 programs that Help in different ways. Minority Achievers Program (MAP) helps with after school homework and is making sure our youth have all the help they need with their education. Actively Changing Together (ACT) is for children from ages 8-14 who are fighting with weight issues. With a doctors referral and at least one parent but preferably the who family, they learn about healthy eating, exercise, and keeping a healthy future. The Teen Program is where teens can go and have a safe place to do homework, have a snack, and keep out of trouble after school.

The money being raised is to help keep all of these programs alive along with a few others. Children and families in our community would not have a place to go if there was not financial assistance for many of them. Please help us.

So now I ask you..... Will you please be part of this great opportunity?
