WHY INVEST IN THE Y?
At the Y, we believe that l
asting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health, and our neighbors. With your support and generosity, we can continue to address these and other pressing issues – and expand our work to reach more people.

Every gift makes a difference.  Everyone has a role to play.  Give today to be a leader in shaping the future of your community.

$5,000 Twelve families learn healthy living habits by participating in youth obesity prevention programming.

$2,500 Four children become kindergarten ready in a nurturing environment supporting early childhood development and parent engagement.

$1,000 Twenty teens build positive relationships with caring  mentors while receiving homework assistance and  exploring a variety of interests during after school hours and non-school days.

$500 An elementary school-age youth has a safe and caring place to go afterschool for academic support, games, and peer interaction, all aligned with their school’s curriculum, while their parents finish the work day.

$250 Four children gain water safety skills and confidence through Y swim lessons.

$100 Three children enjoy their first team sport experience learning the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility under the leadership of their volunteer coaches.

Lauren Nasr's Story
Please join me in the fundraising effort for this organization! I work with multiple programs that receive funding from the Invest in Youth Campaign and am able to see the wonderful impact that it has.
I work with the Minority Achievers Program at Evergreen Middle School. The program allows teens to receive support and advice for their academic and career goals.
I also volunteer with the ACT (Actively Changing Together) program. This is a program for children who are at risk or already obese and their parents. It is a fitness and a nutrition program aimed at teaching healthy living skills that the entire family can use and apply to their daily lives. It empowers them to make healthy decisions for themselves.
