WHY INVEST IN THE Y?
At the Y, we believe that l
asting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health, and our neighbors. With your support and generosity, we can continue to address these and other pressing issues – and expand our work to reach more people.

Every gift makes a difference.  Everyone has a role to play.  Give today to be a leader in shaping the future of your community.

Please join me in the fundraising effort for the Everett Family YMCA.

As many of you know, I have worked with the YMCA of Snohomish County for the past 24 years.
Yes, I started when I was only 6 years oldJ! You also know that the YMCA has always been and will always be large part of our lives.

Without the YMCA in my live there are so many experiences that I would have never been able to do or see. As a high school student the YMCA introduced me to the Washington State Government and provided me the opportunity to learn how our state government works by allowing me to experience it first-hand. I wrote legislative bills, lead committee caucuses, state on the senate floor and debated those bills that I created. The YMCA also gave me opportunities to attend Leadership Conferences with other students in the Pacific Northwest. During those years and all the programs and activities I was never really understood that there were costs associated with them. The staff at the Y just made sure that I knew about all the fun, let me know where to be and what to bring and then we would go. Looking back I really didn’t begin to understand that it was through fundraising that I was able to attend all these wonderful live changing activities, until after graduation. The thought that there were individuals in my community, who believed in the YMCA’s mission so much that they would donate to the Y so that my friends and I could have these experiences.

It is now my turn, and I want to make sure that my children and their friends have similar AMAZING YMCA experiences. Although I have been fund raising for most of my adult life, I need your help, if you are able please join me by donating to the Everett Y what you can so I can reach my goal of $500.
