Be an everyday hero. Let's Celebrate the Power of Community!
The Mukilteo Family YMCA remains dedicated to serving our community, and we need your support to achieve our 2021 Annual Campaign goal of raising $162,500 for our community. The money we raise through our Annual Campaign fundraiser will be used to develop and expand our crucial youth programs. During the pandemic, youth in the community have been disproportionately affected. Both immediate and longer term factors include:
- social isolation
- loss of structured activities
- increased screen time
- potential exposure to stress within the home
- and, the realities of racism
As changing as remote or hybrid learning may be, the challenges are compounded for children from low-income households and homeless families.
Programs like My Achievers Program (MAP), Youth and Government, Virtual Learning Centers, Skate club, and Counselor in Trainings are programs we can continue and expand with your financial help. Additionally, in 2021 the Mukilteo Y will integrate mentorship opportunities from Big Brother Big Sisters (BBBS), and expand youth team sports and swim lessons.
OUR 2021 ANNUAL CAMPAIGN COMMITTMENT:
- Ensure equity of YMCA access to all youth who are on free and reduced lunch by providing middle and high school students a $17 annual YMCA membership.

- Hire a professional full time Youth Development Director, to develop and lead programs engaging our community's youth.
- Ensure thousands children in our community have basic life-saving skills to keep them safe on and around the water by increasing access to YMCA swim lessons, increase access to Make- A- Splash week- long water safety program.
