YMCA 2018 Annual Campaign - Mukilteo Family Branch

We have an extraordinary opportunity to ensure a brighter future for our community—but we must take action today, and only your support will make it possible.

When you give to the Mukilteo Family YMCA, your generosity reaches children, families and seniors throughout Snohomish County. Your gift will help young people achieve their potential, empower people of all ages to lead healthier lives, and strengthen the bonds of community in your own neighborhood.

Together, we will take on many of the greatest challenges facing our young people, our health and our communities across the Mukilteo School District by:

Helping kids grow and thrive through free access to our My Achievers Programs, Grow 60, and our Casino Road Community Center
Providing financial assistance for kids to experience Youth Sports, Swim Lessons, Skateboarding, and Family Programs
Supporting low-income youth with homework help and enrichment experiences in School-Age Child Care at our five elementary schools while their parents work or attend school
Help adults learn and enhance their careers through English & GED classes. Help kids thrive academically through our Early Learning Program at our Casino Road Academy

About Us

The Y is arguably the most powerful social institution this country has ever known. The Y helped found the USO (United Service Organization) and the Peace Corps was patterned after a YMCA program. If you've ever gone to a public library, taken a night course, or celebrated Father's Day, your life has been touched by the work of the Y. If you've ever played basketball or volleyball, or gone camping, you've enjoyed the work of the Y.

Here in Snohomish County, the Y has been serving and strengthening our communities since 1901. We've been here through economic booms and busts, wartime and peace, and social upheavals both subtle and life-changing. Our movement is made up of people of all ages and from every walk of life, all working side-by-side to ensure that everyone, regardless of gender, income or background, has the opportunity to live life to its fullest.

We value caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, and everything we do stems from this. Our staff and volunteers are kids, parents, grandparents, neighbors, and local leaders who are all personally committed to understanding what our neighborhoods need. Together, we use our knowledge to develop stronger, more integrated communities, provide support for people and families, and promote positive change overall.
